Microsoft's LifeCam Cinema HD was one of the first webcams in the world to offer HD recording. To communicate this new technological achievement in image quality, MINIMAL worked with the Microsoft team to leverage design cues from high-end photographic equipment, introducing a new design and quality standard in a market previously dominated by cheap and often toy-like products.
