MINIMAL brought home two gold International Design Excellence Awards from this year's IDSA award ceremony for the TURF Acoustic Tile System and HBF Fulton Rocker. We're honored to be recognized amongst the 145 winners of one of the world's most rigorous and prestigious design competitions.

Both projects were inspired by personal experiences and are part of MINIMAL’s growing portfolio of self-incubated and shared-risk strategic partnerships, which makes it even more rewarding to know that they will be showcased in a permanent collection at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation.

TURF Acoustic Ceiling Tile System

The challenge of environmental noise in the workplace inspired us to create an intelligent acoustic solution, one that offered functional performance and transformative aesthetics and compliments existing construction workflows and budgets. The three-dimensional, magnetic, PET industrial felt (recycled from water bottles) acoustic tile system is made in the U.S.A. for a cleaner planet and more inspiring workplace.

HBF Fulton Rocker

We rocked our way into a gold IDSA International Design Excellence Award with the Fulton Rocker, a modern, refined interpretation of the classic rocking chair. We will soon be selling the Rocker on the MNML Shop alongside our X-Series Timepieces. Sign up to be notified when it hits the store.
